After several failed attempts, Jarod's AVRE has finally blown a new exit in the sea wall, next to the blocked bridge.
Bren carriers try to force the road at the break in the sea wall.
OK, brief break to visit the Armor Club meeting to see some nice 1/35 scale Mule models. The one in Yellow is modelled after one used on a Navy airfield, after being left behind by the Marines.
Back to the game. Another platoon of US Airborne (Rangers) enters the board. And just in time as the earlier platoon has suffered casualties.
More German reinforcements. A Pak 40 platoon barrels down the road to help stop the allies.
