These are photos from the USS Alabama Model Contest held in Mobile, AL in April of 2008.
Battleship Park took quite a hit during the hurricane seasons over the past couple of years. This area was cordoned off for damaged aircraft being reworked.
The A-12 (SR-71 variant) shows some of the hurricane damage.
This UH-1 has had severe damage. The flood waters formed a whirlpool in the aircraft hangar and caused rather extensive damage.
Another of the devastated helicopters that was in the display.
