EZ Line
We have just found a new product that is great for making those annoying antenna lines on WWII aircraft! Most of you have tried stretched sprue, monofilament line, thread, hair, and who knows what else! One of the major problems with all of these is the way every time you accidentally touch it, you break the line, or your glue joints. They're just too fragile. EZ Line is a product developed for use in the Model Railroad hobby for use as telephone lines. It is a .003 Elastic line that will stretch to 700% of its size, and snap back into place. It will not fray or get fuzzy like thread, and will not dry up like rubber. It works very well with superglue. So far we've only used it as antenna line, but it should be great for biplane or ship rigging, barb wire fences (in small scales), and who knows what else! Give some a try yourself!
