The American Armor tries to force the gap on Omaha Beach.
On this day the Americans are making good advances in the Flames of War D-Day game.
They have even reached the top of the bluffs, and rolling down the German defences.
Trenches don't give much protection when you are both in the trench!
This is one of my favorite stories of Heat of Battle. The young man at the end of the table is Michael White. He is currently entering his Freshman year of high school. His first exposure to wargaming was at the first Heat of Battle 2 years ago. Now he is the game master of this Memoir 44 game!
On this night I decided to take some shots of the equipment on display in the museum as well. I like the idea of an M3 Halftrack with "Nose Art"!
