A few highlights from Thursday of the Show
These are photos from Thursday at the IPMS National Contest in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Please pardon any errors in description, and the lack of info on some pictures. This was a whirlwind tour of a large number of models. I tried to take pictures of items that caught my eye, but did not make enough notes about these items!
Detail on the 1/48 Felixstowe flying boat. My personal favorite for best aircraft on the first day of the show.
Another flying boat, this one in 1/144 with a nice display base.
1/144 Boeing 737 in Southwest Airlines Arizona paint scheme. I believe the decals are by Jet decals.
The Belcher Bits resin 1/48 HO3S (S-51) with Mickey Rooney!
The Academy 1/35 MH-60 Pave Hawk!.
