A few highlights from Thursday of the Show
These are photos from Thursday at the IPMS National Contest in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Please pardon any errors in description, and the lack of info on some pictures. This was a whirlwind tour of a large number of models. I tried to take pictures of items that caught my eye, but did not make enough notes about these items!
At the Nationals there are almost always really cool scratchbuilt space ships. This H-wing fighter definitely qualifies.
Another selection of interesting spacecraft.
And some very nice real space models.
I believe this was the Condor Enzian missile with the converted 88mm Flak base as launcher.
And finally, a really cool paint job on this Yamaha to finish out. I hope you enjoyed the pictures, and if you ever get to go to a nationals, do it! (Atlanta will be hosting in 2005!!!).
